PROFILE:

I am an exponent of Indian classical vocal music for both Bangiya Parishad and Allahabad Gharana (gharana i.e. musical style), my versatility ranges from singing different kinds of pure Indian classical types such as Bilamvit, Khayal, Taranas, Thumri to Semi classical songs including Meera bai bhajans Having lots of experience on stage performance, I would love to deliver good performance for wonderful audience if I get an opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• JUNIOR AND SENIOR DIPLOMA (Vocal classical)
• SANGEET BISHARAD (Vocal classical)
• SANGEET PRABHAKAR (Vocal classical), still learning under Pandit. Dhruvajyoti Kar (student of Ustad Rashid Khan). Final degree certificate is due in April and looking to further continue my learning under Pandit. Druva jyoti Kar.
• Completed 5^th yr degree in Nazrulgeeti.

ACHIEVEMENTS & PERFORMANCE:

I have performed in Indian cultural festival in Glasgow quite a few times and also performed in Peterborough Indian cultural festival (Durga Puja). I was also in-charge of the Mahalaya (Indian Cultural festival) held in Glasgow year’2014 and a regular performer at Glasgow Awaz FM radio.

I have also performed at Government radio function (Akash Vani) and participated in many stage shows during my college days.
